Canteen

Last night, as always, I volunteered to work at Justin's school canteen. When I arrived, I found out I was to work serving the food and drinks. After 2 1/2 hours, I had a new admiration for the school lunch ladies. There sure were a lot of hungry and thirsty kids. But I have to say, the kids were very cute and I really enjoyed myself talking with the other moms. There is only one more canteen left this year and once again I plan to volunteer. There are not that many opportunities to volunteer in middle school; so I am glad that this is one area that they can use my assistance.
